HEALTH SERVICES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF DODOMA

HEALTH CENTER

1.    All 1st and 2nd year students will be required to produce a National Health Insurance Card so as to access Health services at the University of Dodoma Heath Center.

2.    All 1st and 2nd year students who have National Health Insurance cards are also required to pay 49,600/=  to cover services that are NOT covered by the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) eg. transporting a sick student to a referral hospital and the like {TSh 49,600/- must be deposited in CRDB account detailed under number 4 bellow}.

3.    All 1st and 2nd year students who do not have the National Health Insurance card are required to pay Medical capitation fee which is 100,000/= (of which Tsh 50,400/= will be used to produce the said card, and the rest will cover what is explainned under 2 above).

Durring registration you will also be required to bring with you two (2) pasport size photo.

4.    Medical capitation payment should be made to the following accounts:

5.    No student will be registered without meeting the conditions listed above.

6.    All second year students who were given the National Health Insurance card last accademic year, will be required to return the previous national Health Insurance card before they are issued with new card after meeting the condition stated under 2 and 3 above.

7.    All 3rd and 4th year students are NOT involved in this arrangement.

8.    Finaly, all bearers of Nationa Health Insurance Fund cards will be required to submit the said cards to the Nationa Health Insurance officers for verification before they are allowed to proceed with registration process.
